| Burgess Enterprises LLC was formed in the year 2000 in Concord, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte, very near the Lowe's Motorspeedway and the Lake Norman recreational area. Bonnie Burgess, President, and her husband Gerald, vice President, spearheaded operations originally with her fastener company. That is how she became known for over 15 years as the “nutnboltlady”. During her career in the fastener business she came across an incredible raw material created by “mother nature herself”. When formulated in a very special way this acted like a quick drying absorbent that we now call “QuiKleen”. |

After getting our lab work done, trademark and other pertinent obstacles, we found a wide range of potential users. After receiving our EPA certification and signature letters from surrounding cities, we quickly started growing, and in 2004 the fastener business was sold so more attention could be devoted to “QuiKleen”. As the name indicates, it is a quick and easy clean up and in many cases can be re-used over and over, making the product very cost efficient. This alternative to “clay” products, rice hull or even peat moss, far outweighs the benefits and features of those type old fashion products. You use “A LOT” less for the same spill. It is environmentally safe and economical. It also leaves no residue or hazardous condition for employees or the public to slip and fall, which could lead to a burdensome problem for your company.
